New Splatoon 2 Stage, Weapon and Amiibo Announced

Coming on the heels of a recently released classic stage called Arowana Mall, a new Splatoon 2 stage, weapon and Amiibo have been revealed.

First up are the two lovely Amiibo of Splatoon 2’s lovely hosts, Pearl and Marina.  We don’t know yet what function they will have in the game, but they will certainly be able to unlock something interesting for players.  The other new Splatoon features announced are a weapon called the Dark Tetra Dualies and a stage called Goby Arena.  Goby Arena is set in a basketball arena as you may have guessed, and the Dark Tetra Dualies are promising to be a powerful addition to the dualies weapon class.  These new dualies will allow you to perform four consecutive dodge rolls as opposed to the standard set of two.  Also, unlike with standard dualies, you will be able to shoot while you are in the process of performing a dodge roll.

Specific release dates have yet to be revealed, but I will keep you updated as the information rolls in.
