Dan Beckerton, a solo independent game developer, has launched a new game on Kickstarter called Spirittea. It is a game heavily inspired by Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley, as well as by movies like Spirited Away. Check out the Spirittea Kickstarter here or check out the announcement trailer below.
Spirittea Kickstarter
Spirittea’s core gameplay involves finding angry spirits around the town. Figuring out how to convince them to relax at your bath house will be quite the challenge, as well as managing the bath house when spirits do arrive. It is a casual game with puzzle elements and is meant to be a relaxing and unique experience.
Dan Beckerton is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for Spirittea, and it would be absolutely wonderful if you could help.
First of all, check out the Kickstarter and share however you can. Secondly, watch and share the trailer. Thirdly, you can support the Kickstarter by pledging at any tier. Finally, you can also interact with Beckerton on Twitter to give him some feedback, praise, or pointers.
Spreading the word is one of the hardest challenges for a single indie developer like Beckerton. Any help you can give is always and truly appreciated.
The game is planned for an Early Access release on PC/Mac. After that, plans for other platforms will include the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4. You can even periodically check the Kickstarter campaign for updates.
The Kickstarter campaign will run from January 1 – 30th, 2020.
Stay tuned for more details! And as always, happy gaming, everyone.
