Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon has a distinct Castlevania 3 look and feel to it, which will hopefully satisfy fans of that series. The involvement of Koji Igarashi should definitely get Castlevania fans hopes up. This is what Inti Creates has to say about the game:

“Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon” is the title that we originally promised to make in tandem with Koji Igarashi during the Bloodstained Kickstarter campaign back in 2015. Mr. Igarashi’s unmatched experience with these kinds of games combined with our staff’s talent and enthusiasm for the project created a game that feels both nostalgic and like a fresh new experience at the same time.

Curse of the Moon is packed with the retro charm that made the legendary 2D action games of the 80s so enjoyable. Take control of one of four characters that can be interchanged at any time during gameplay: The sword-swinging exorcist Zangetsu, the whip-wielding heroine Miriam, the magic using alchemist Alfred, and Gebel, who can turn into a bat and take to the skies. You can experience multiple endings depending on how you interact with the characters you meet.

The Gunvolt series has always been the Megaman games we wish we had. Fans of Megaman definitely have found a lot of parallels between the two series, and that is clearly by design. Each Gunvolt game has been well made, and Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX looks to have the same level of polish from what they’ve shown. Here is what Inti Creates has to say about this one:

Luminous Avenger iX is a new title in the universe of the Gunvolt series, which began with 2014’s Nintendo 3DS eShop title “Azure Striker Gunvolt,” which was followed by 2016’s “Azure Striker Gunvolt 2.” This new title sees Gunvolt series anti-hero “Copen” take the starring role. The Inti Creates team is hard at work on this project centering around this popular character from the Gunvolt universe, and more details are to be announced this summer, so look forward to hearing more info soon!

Are you looking forward to either one of these titles, or maybe both? Let us know in the comments below.
