A while ago, I reported about the development of Dragon Quest Builders 2 with information that Square Enix had provided about a possible multiplayer mode. An update on the official Japanese website shares some “goodies” for returning player (but no hot news about that coop mode, so sad!). A trailer also comes along with further details regarding the bonus in-game content:
Save Data Import Bonus #1: Legendary Builder’s Cap
By changing your appearance with the “Dresser” item, you will be able to change your character’s hairdo to that of the original Dragon Quest Builders protagonist.
PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 3 / PS Vita versions: “Escape Artist” trophy
Switch version: Save data in which the “Banner of Hope” has been erected in “Chapter 1: Cantlin”
Save Data Import Bonus #2: Dragonlord’s Throne Recipe
Obtain a recipe to build the “Dragonlord’s Throne,” which changes your appearance to that of the Dragonlord while sitting on it.
PlayStation 4 / PlayStation 3 / PS Vita versions: “Torchbearer of Tantegel” trophy
Switch version: Save data after “Final Chapter: Tantegel” has been cleared
Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be coming to Switch as well as PlayStation 4. Currently, an exact launch date has not been revealed, but maybe we will get a date soon? Since the new information came along pretty recently, Square Enix should eventually tell us a little bit more…
Have you played the fusion of the popular Dragon Quest franchise and Minecraft? Will you pick up the sequel or does the first one completely satisfy your building desires?
