Along with the wonderful news that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild received three awards at The Game Awards 2017 including Game of the Year, it was also revealed along with a trailer that Ballad of Champions is now available for download!

Ballad of Champions is the second DLC pack for Breath of the Wild.  The first pack included several new armor sets, some new items and a challenge dungeon which allowed players to fully unlock the power of the Master Sword.  Ballad of Champions appears to include a new story which elaborates on the events of the past when Ganon destroyed Hyrule, new armor sets, new shrines and a shiny new motorcycle among many other things!

I did not expect this whatsoever, and Nintendo picked the perfect time to release it.  What better way to advertise their new game of the year than with the highly anticipated DLC pack?  Both packs must be purchased as one package from the eShop, but it only costs $20 in total.  That is not a bad price for so much additional content being stuffed into a game already loaded with hundreds of hours of content.  Did you already buy Breath of the Wild’s DLC?  If you haven’t yet, do you plan to?
