Play Time Glitch Confirmed by Nintendo – Solution on the Way

We recently reported that a bug had been discovered in the play time data which was deleting our history after a year had passed.  Nintendo has confirmed on their Japanese support site that this is indeed a glitch and that an update is in the works which will resolve it.  They also said that our play time data has not been lost and will be restored when the glitch is resolved.  It has not yet been revealed when we can expect this fix, but it is reassuring that none of this was intentional.
