Many retro fans will love this news: Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 are confirmed for the Nintendo Switch! As a fan of those series, I was especially thrilled to know I will be able to play Mega Man on the go when it will be released on July, 24th!
Capcom said in the past that their Mega Man X collections would be coming to the Switch. This is great news for all proud owners of the little console! Although, for some time after this announcement, no more details were provided. The fans were left in the dark, completely puzzled.
Through Famitsu, more information about how they will be distributed was provided. The famous platformer will be released in two packs:
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 will include Mega Man X, X2, X3 as well as X4.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 comes with Mega Man X5, X6, X7 and X8. Previously released DLC will be included.
Like selfies, old games on a new console can look better with a filter. Both Mega Man X Legacy Collections will provide that to make the performance crisp and smooth at the same time. For art admirers, an art gallery will be in both games as well. Or why don’t you compare your Mega Man merchandise with the ones in the gallery?
If you are up to challenge yourself, then you can try out the so-called “X Challenge”. There, you can fight bosses from all the X series. Sounds good, right? Besides all of the levels, you can test your skills or replay those bosses you loved beating!
