In a recent livestream of Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana for the Nintendo Switch, NIS America revealed that the game will run at 30 FPS in both handheld and docked mode. For comparison, the PS4 version of the game runs at 60 FPS, so if the frame rate is your key selling point, then that will be the best version for you. Of course, as is generally the case with the Nintendo Switch, if having the capability of playing on the go is important for you, then the Switch version will be the way to go!
Do you already have the PC, PS4 or PS Vita version of the game, and are you thinking about getting it on the Switch when it launches this summer? Let us know in the comments below!
