3 New Switch Games Announced by NIS America
Today NIS America announced a wealth of their plans for the coming year and beyond including new games as well as release dates! Here’s a round up of what Switch owners need to take away from this event.
Happy Birthdays – Summer 2018
A rather oddly named title (originally called Birthdays the Beginning), this is a game of world building and evolution simulator where you build and create your own ecosystems will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch this summer. With a new user interface and the ability to create your own worlds on the go, this seems like it could be a great fit for the Switch.
Touhou Genso Wanderer – Reloaded – Summer 2018
Previously released on PS4, this hardcore roguelike dungeon crawler contains all the DLC from previous releases as well as brand new scenarios for its Nintendo Switch releases this summer. The chibi art style is a tad strange looking, especially in the gameplay portions but this sounds like an absolutely packed adventure that has its fans.
Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk – Autumn 2018
To end the show NIS America revealed Labyrinth of Refrain. This dungeon crawler was released on the Vita in Japan in late 2016 and was later ported to the PS4. It’s now finally seeing a western release with a Switch version in the works. It seems like it could be an interesting game as you delve deep into the labyrinth below commanding your puppet army made up of different classes. Sounds like classic dungeon crawling antics to me, just with an anime art style.
Release dates
Here are some solid release dates we found out for their already announced titles on Nintendo Switch.
Penny Punching Princess – 4th April (NA) and 30th March (EU)
Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory – 29th May (NA) 1st June (EU)
Other announcements include that Ys VIII is most certainly based on the PS4 version and includes some DLC costumes. And that’s about it for Switch owners. Which of these announcements has you most excited? Let us know in the comments below!
