Next up, we finally heard about what the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 story DLC will be comprised of. Taking players into the distant past, this DLC will follow the story a key antagonist of Xenoblade after he developed his twisted ideology and how he threw the ancient world into chaos and war. Now you get to participate in the Aegis War! This DLC feels like it will be an entire game in and of itself allowing players to control a completely different cast of characters while leveling them up from square one. This DLC pack is titled Torna: The Golden Country and will be released in September 2018. You can even purchase a physical box for this DLC which will include the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion Pass Code

After Xenoblade, Reggie came onscreen to give us a summary of all the information we learned about Pokemon Let’s Go which we learned previously in the original reveal trailer. However, there was one exciting tidbit he revealed today: if you buy the Pokeball Plus, Mew will be included with it, and you can transfer the Mew into your game from the very beginning!

Super Mario Party Switch

Following that exciting reveal (or disappointing if you had no plans to buy the Pokeball Plus), we were introduced to the next Mario Party title: Super Mario Party. Coming on October 5th this year, Super Mario Party will feature a heavy focus on Joy-Con use and will even allow you to set multiple Switches up next to each other in way that depending on how you set them, the game board itself will be affected.

Fire Emblem The Three Houses

The next one is a big one. Fire Emblem: The Three Houses is the next title in the Fire Emblem series! As the series first-time return to consoles since the Wii era with Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, the developers are going all out with this title. Featuring larger battles than ever before with entire battalions onscreen for individual conflicts (perhaps inspired by Fire Emblem Warriors?) and the ability to actually walk around on a map, this is sure to be the biggest Fire Emblem yet! Look forward to this one in Spring 2019.

Hollow Knight

Next, Reggie gave us a quick update on three new indie titles coming one of which was a nice “it’s available today” surprise: Overcooked 2, Killer Queen: Black and Hollow Knight! Overcooked 2 features more recipes and kitchens, you can throw ingredients and there is also wireless local multiplayer. Killer Queen: Black allows Switch players to exclusively play locally with two team consisting of four players each. And Hollow Knight is coming out today! That will be a nice surprise for Juan who was very excited for that title!
