I've been playing video games since Pong and this marks about my 25th year as an "Amateur Game Journalist". I've been writing for websites since my college days, contributing to N64HQ and then creating the sites The 64 Source and OperatioN2000 before "retiring" with preparing for the birth of my first child. I then helped write the code that ran Planet Gamecube (now Nintendo World Report) and would contribute there periodically. Since the launch of the Switch, and now that my kids are mostly grown up I've gotten sucked back into writing, with a focus on indie games, and now run Nindie Spotlight where I'll very soon pass the 250 review mark even in the Switch's relatively short lifespan.
