Still being a farmer on your Nintendo Switch? No? Maybe it is time to pick up Stardew Valley again! Maybe together with your friends, because ConcernedApe is working hard to bring multiplayer mode to the game. The Stardew Valley multiplayer update will come to Switch – but when exactly?
The co-op mode for the beloved farming simulation is no big secret anymore. ConcernedApe aka Eric Barone thought about his fans yesterday in his Tweet, providing some more information:
Update on Stardew Valley multiplayer: still making good progress on fixing bugs, if all goes well it should be ready in about a month

Our very attentive readers might have been concerned about the lack of a Switch mention. Stardew Valley fan BdiZzlE2234 was curious and reached out to Barone in the comments. The following reply was given to the fanbase:
PC first, then switch, then both Xbox and PS4. Not exactly sure on the timetable for those. This tweet is referring to PC/Mac/Linux

Sadly, no exact date was given out yet. We still have to be patient a little longer for the release. At least we know that the PC update will come first and then consoles after. If everything goes smoothly, the hopes are high that we might spend lazy summer days playing Stardew Valley in co-op mode.
