Owlboy For Nintendo Switch Turned Profit Within 24 Hours

One of the developers of Owlboy recently revealed on Reddit in an Ask Me Anything thread that the game yielded a profit for the company within just 24 hours of the launch solely on the Nintendo Switch.  This is clearly good news for any developer and is yet another sign of games performing excellently on the Switch.  The upcoming physical release will absolutely result in additional sales of this great game.

“Amazing! We don’t have numbers from remaining platforms yet, but ‘Owlboy’ turned a profit within 24h of it’s launch on the Switch alone, taking us by complete surprise! @o@ It bodes really well for funding our future projects.”
