Midnight Deluxe is swinging on to the Switch this March!

In life there are few things as guaranteed as the sun rising. However, you can probably add “Ratalaika’s next Switch port announcement” to the list. The relentless porter and publisher has already provided a wealth of games to the Nintendo Switch. Many of them have be average to decent in quality, whether it’s One More Dungeon or League of Evil, Ratalaika is always happy to be bringing games to the eShop. The latest announcement is for another game in the “Midnight” universe called Midnight Deluxe. Appearing to be a side-view miniature golf-like game, to me it looks like it could be a bit of fun unlike 36 Fragments of Midnight which we did not like so much. It’s releasing on the 7th March in North America and Europe priced at 4.99 Euros and 4.99 Dollars.

In this golf-like game with a perpetual darkness setting, your task is to guide a little square-shaped fairy, named Midnight.
Use your controller or touch-screen controls, to launch Midnight into the night sky, but watch out! The world of Midnight is a dangerous one thanks to the likes of spikes, circular saws and plenty of other dangerous objects and even if you do manage to get Midnight into the safe zone, to advance to the next level, there’s the added challenge of trying to complete each level in the least amount of shots as possible to get all three Stars.

Features:

  • 70 engaging levels that get progressively harder.

  • Enhanced graphics that are even greater than those seen in 36 Fragments of Midnight

  • Controller support added for Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

  • Touch-screen controls for Nintendo Switch have also been added for the players who would rather use their fingers.

  • A soothing piano soundtrack throughout to complement gameplay.
