Another free update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans is on the way! Nintendo announced today Wave 2 of the Summer Update that will give you the ability to have fireworks and have firework shows with your own custom designs, but also visit other islands in a weird dream state like you’re doing some kind of relaxed astral projection directly to your friends’ islands!
In addition to that, they also announced that part of the update will include something called the “Island Backup Restoration Service” which I assume means resetting your island to the default appearance of when you first generated it at the beginning of your game, but that’s just my educated guess.
We will have to wait until July 30th to really see everything included in Wave 2 of the Summer Update but Nintendo even took the opportunity to provide us with another surprise with the announcement of the Fall Update which obviously includes Halloween and other seasonal accessories, but we will have to wait to know exactly what.
