Northgard sets sail for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Sept. 26, 2019

 

A new trailer for Northgard, the best-selling Viking strategy title from Evoland creators Shiro Games, is now available following its debut as part of the Nintendo Indie World presentation. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch version of the game are now also online, including a 20% off discount via the Nintendo eShop.

The popular RTS, which has sold more than 1 million units on Steam since its arrival in 2018, follows the adventures of Norse explorers who have recently established themselves in a mysterious newfound land. To bring fame and fortune to their clan, the settlers must survive roaming packs of dire wolves, harsh winter storms, armies of the undead, and even mythical creatures such as giants and dragons.

Northgard will be available via the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store for $34.99 / €34.99 / £31.49. Physical versions from distributor Merge Games will also be sold at retail.

Shiro Games will showcase Northgard’s console versions at Gamescom Hall 3.2 Booth #B018 this week alongside the upcoming expansion, Conquest, the recently-revealed tabletop adaptation Northgard: Uncharted Lands, and co-op survival action game Darksburg.
