This weekend teams from all over Europe will duke it out at the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate European Smash Ball Team Cup 2019 finals at Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam. Fans can still get their hands on a limited number of free tickets for the exciting two-day event by visiting the official ticket website. Guests can sign up for free access to the show on one or both days, where they can experience Europe’s best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players first-hand as they go head-to-head in heated team battles. Meanwhile viewers across the world can watch the tournament via livestream to see how the finals unfold on Nintendo’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
Where and when to watch
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans are eagerly awaiting the first weekend in May, which will be host to the thrilling conclusion of the European Smash Ball Team Cup 2019 taking place at Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam on 4th and 5th May from 11:00 CEST on both days. Viewers who aren’t able to make it to Amsterdam in person also have the option to watch the finals from the comfort of their home via the official Nintendo tournament live streams:

Please note that on 4th May it is Remembrance Day (Dodenherdenking) in the Netherlands. At 20:00 CEST there will be two minutes of silence across the nation. We ask visitors to respect this in any public spaces, such as train stations or central squares. On 5th May, there will be celebrations due to Liberation Day (Bevrijdingsdag). We ask visitors to take these events into account during their stay.

Unfortunately, the Russian champions, Ye Olde Guard, are unable to join the finals event in Amsterdam. The teams in this 2-team group will both receive a bye to the playoff stage. They will then compete against each other in a one-off match to determine the seeding for the playoff bracket.
Match types for the European Smash Ball Team Cup 2019 Finals
To determine the European Super Smash Bros. Ultimate champions in Amsterdam, qualified teams will be split into 4 groups, with the top 2 teams of each group moving on to the quarter-finals stage. For full details on the ruleset, please refer to the official tournament rules.
