Breeding Dragon Quest With Pokémon = Monster Crown?

 

After hearing the news for this Kickstarter project, you might think like I did. As I heard, Monster Crown is going to be a game about breeding monsters and after looking at that trailer, I immediately thought of both Pokémon and Dragon Quests series. The development team was aiming for a nostalgic feeling as they started that Kickstarter project!

Providing a rather dark story, the game developers of Monster Crown were inspired by the breeding games. Not being fully satisfied with how the monster turned out being a real offspring of their parents, the idea for this title was born back in 2016. Monster Crown also has the following features:

• 200+ Monsters to Collect
• Countless Combinations to breed
• A Sprawling, Wild World
• A Deep, Dark Story
• A Pivotal Choice that Drastically Changes the Ending and Post-Game
• Online Battling/Trading

The Kickstarter is doing very well; it has already reached two of their set goals. If you take a look at the trailer, you can clearly see an environment that resembles the early Pokémon games. The concept sounds are indeed interesting, and with around $11,000 USD already in the pot, Monster Crown is likely to happen in early 2019!
