What Is Dragon Marked For Death?

Dragon Marked For Death is a 2D side-scrolling co-op focused action-RPG game for up to 4 players. You play as one of the members of the Dragonblood Clan. With their homes destroyed by the Medius Empire, swearing to get revenge, the clan members form a pact with the Astral Dragon Atruum.

Play as one of the members of the Dragonblood clan, work through missions, both big and small and get stronger by killing all that stand in front of you. Gain unique skills for each member and get revenge for your clan.

Two versions?

Yes and no. I have seen some confusion about this over the past few days after Inti Creates put up Dragon Marked For Death on the eShop. I am here to hopefully clear up the confusion.

Inti Creates announced, on 18th November 2018, that Dragon Marked for Death will be coming in two separate packs on the eShop both retailing at $14.99 USD.

Frontline Fighters contains the Empress and Warrior characters. This pack is aimed at beginners as the characters are tank and DPS types.

The Advanced Attackers pack will contain the Shinobi and Witch characters, which are more technical characters with higher skill ceilings that are geared towards more advanced players.

After choosing the pack you like you can buy the other characters as DLC.

Both versions come with the full game, you do not need both packs to enjoy Dragon Marked For Death, but you will need both packs to play as all 4 Characters.

Unfortunately from the official US Nintendo site (link here). It would seem even as DLC the opposite pack will still cost $14.99 USD.

As of the writing of this news article we don’t know the UK eShop price.

Physical Release?

Yes, according to Amazon.com (link here). The physical version will be released on 26th February 2019 and will be $49.99 USD, distributed by Nighthawk Interactive. This will come with all 4 characters to play as, season pass and stickers.

No word on the price of the season pass. Nor anything regarding the UK.

I hope this has cleared up any and all confusion about Dragon Marked For Death. Also, keep checking Switchwatch and the Youtube Channel for more news and reviews on all things Switch.
