The Gunvolt series was a major surprise hit on the 3DS/2DS system that felt like a combination of Mega-Man and Mighty No. 9. Fans should be excited, because Inti Creates and Keiji Inafune will be returning to bring Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 to the Nintendo Switch! Check out the first trailer here.
Like the first two games, Gunvolt 3 will star Gunvolt as the main character. However, one turn of events for this entry is a new protagonist named Kirin, a katana-wielding warrior that looks to bring a lot more variety to the table.
Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 does not have a release date or even a release window as of yet, but Inti Creates did say that they will keep us updated with information as it becomes available. The game is still quite early in its development, so do not expect it any time soon.
